La Foret is looking for baristas to join our team! *Title: Barista* Work Location: La Foret Royal Oak, 6958 Palm Ave, Burnaby Wage: $17.85/hour (dependent upon experience) Hours of Work: 30-40 hours per week Terms of Employment: Full-Time, Part-Time, Permanent Benefit: 4% of gross salary or 10 days of paid vacation Positions Available: 1 *Job Duties: * * Preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. * Taking customer orders and provide exceptional customer service * Maintaining regular attendance and punctuality. * Operating POS and handling cash transactions accurately * Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar * Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient operations *Job Requirements:* * Previous experience in the coffee industry is preferred * Familiarity with cash handling procedures and using a point-of-sale (POS) system is a plus * Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude * Flexible to work on evening, weekends and holidays While we appreciate all applications, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
