Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Promote conference and meeting services or special events. Develop marketing and communication plans. Determine requirements for hospitality services, signage, multi-media equipment, printing and other technical services, and arrange for and manage contracts for these services. Confirm and co-ordinate speakers. Set up and monitor, or arrange for the setting up and monitoring of multi-media equipment. Plan schedules, goals and objectives. Plan for social events and guest programs. Prepare final financial and other reports. Manage Event Logistics. Supervise office and volunteer staff. Meet with clients to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs and timelines. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
