*Position Summary:* As a Loss Prevention Uniform Security Guard, you will play a critical role in safeguarding assets, deterring theft, and ensuring the safety and security of our clients, customers, and staff. Your presence helps maintain a secure environment, reduce loss, and provide a strong visual deterrent against potential threats. *Key Responsibilities:* ? *Patrol Premises:* Conduct regular foot patrols in assigned areas to deter theft, shoplifting, and unauthorized activities. ? *Monitor Surveillance Systems:* Operate CCTV and other monitoring equipment to identify suspicious behavior and potential threats. ? *Incident Response:* Respond promptly to alarms, security breaches, and emergency situations in a calm and professional manner. ? *Customer Service:* Provide a visible, approachable presence while maintaining a professional demeanor; assist customers and staff when needed. ? *Report Writing:* Document all incidents, observations, and activities clearly and accurately in daily reports. ? *Collaboration:* Work closely with management, law enforcement, and other security staff to address security concerns and ensure a coordinated response. ? *Loss Prevention:* Investigate and report incidents of theft, fraud, and policy violations; detain suspects as required within legal guidelines and company policies. ? *Access Control:* Enforce access control measures and verify credentials for entry into restricted areas. *Qualifications:* ? Valid Security Guard License ? High school diploma or equivalent ? Excellent communication and observational skills ? Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to emergencies ? Prior security or loss prevention experience ? Physically fit and able to stand/walk for extended periods *Working Conditions:* ? Indoor and outdoor environments; may include standing and walking for long periods ?
