As the Finance Manager at Eden Care Communities, you will play a vital role in ensuring the financial health and success of the organization. Youll lead the finance team, providing both strategic oversight and hands-on involvement in day-to-day financial operations. You will be the go-to person for managing financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance, while working closely with the CFO and operational leaders to help guide key decisions that align with our mission of providing supportive and affordable living across our communities.Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership to the accounting and finance team, while directly handling core accounting functions.- Manage Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Fixed Assets, and Revenue Recognition.- Monitor cash flow needs and transactions to optimize financial health.- Coordinate the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, reporting variances to senior management.- Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and analyze financial performance.- Compile and analyze financial reporting packages for stakeholders.- Communicate financial metrics and trends effectively to senior management.- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and resolve technical accounting issues.- Support month-end, year-end, and audit processes.- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to enhance internal controls.- Contribute to the development and execution of Eden Care Communities' strategic plans.- Perform additional duties as assigned.Requirements- Bachelors Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.- Professional designation (CPA, CA, CGA, CMA) is preferred.- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles.- Thorough understanding ...For more information on this job, please visit the employer's website.
