<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><strong>Summary: </strong>The Operations Supervisor is directly responsible for the day to day supervision of the warehouse floor, assigning the work schedule to the team members, and supervising the time management of the warehouse shipments.</p><p><strong>Compensation: </strong>This salaried, exempt position pays from to per year. The estimated annual pay for new hires generally ranges from to or more, depending on experience, education level and annual bonuses.</p><p><strong>To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to complete the following essential duties and responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Responsible for assuring all functions on the shift are properly staffed to execute varied work volume, manage flow of orders to the floor to optimize operation for approximately 10-20 employees in a 100,000 square foot facility.</li><li>Maintain and manage facility quality process.</li><li>Ensure on-time shipping performance; work closely with direct reports to ensure receipts and shipments meet standards.</li><li>Supervise realignment activities to ensure maximum optimization of the facility.</li><li>Manage operational activities to ensure DC layout and continuous improvement activities support goals of the operation.</li><li>Provide direct supervision to the shift supervisors. Hold them accountable for their performance and the performance of their teams.</li><li>Provide Leadership, training, and supervision to 25 to 50 team members.</li><li>Continuously work towards increasing the leadership capability of the team and drives professional growth.</li><li>Responsible for all facility/equipment maintenance and supplies.</li><li>Responsible for maintaining a safe working environment and overseeing safety compliance.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Additionally the candidate must meet the following Education and/or Experience requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>High School Education required.</li><li>One (1) to Two (2) years of supervisory experience.</li><li>Forklift experience a plus.</li><li>Able to use tablets (IPad).</li><li>Basic to Intermediate level of Microsoft Excel knowledge.</li><li>Strong leadership skills</li><li>Excellent oral and written English language communication skills</li><li>Provide high level of customer service</li><li>Good organizational skills</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>This role has the following physical demands:</strong></p><ul><li>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
