Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Noisy. Outdoors. All weather conditions. Wet/damp. Hot. Work setting: Golf course. Tasks: Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides and other lawn care products. Remove litter and garbage. Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees. Lay sod or seed. Apply fertilizers. Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment. Equipment and machinery experience: Weed trimmer/edger. Security and safety: Enhanced reliability security clearance. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Attention to detail. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Ability to distinguish between colours. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Fast-paced environment. Hand-eye co-ordination.
