*Job Title:* Accounting Manager *Location:* 3270 Orlando Drive, Mississauga *Job Type:* Full-time *Industry:* Home Textiles / Light Manufacturing *About the Role* We are seeking an experienced *Accounting Manager* to lead our financial operations with experience in *Home Textiles* and light *manufacturing*. This role requires knowledge of *QuickBooks*, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of accounting and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will oversee all accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations. *Key Responsibilities* * *Financial Management:* Oversee financial transactions, reporting, and reconciliations using *QuickBooks*. * *Cost Accounting:* Manage manufacturing cost accounting, including inventory valuation, cost allocation, and variance analysis. * *Process Improvement:* Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency. * *Collaboration:* Work closely with operations, procurement, and management to support financial decision-making. *Qualifications* * *Education:* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CMA preferred. * *Experience:* Minimum *5+ years* in accounting. * *Software Expertise:* Proficient in *QuickBooks*, Microsoft Excel, and ERP systems. * *Analytical Skills:* Strong financial analysis capabilities, especially in cost accounting. * *Communication:* Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to present financial insights effectively. *What We Offer* * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunities for career advancement * A dynamic and collaborative work environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * Paid time off * RRSP match * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2025-07-02- LocationMississauga, ON
