*About Us:* Escarpment Construction is a trusted name in asphalt paving and site development in the Southwestern Ontario area. As demand for our services grows, we?re looking to add a skilled *Roller Operator* to our paving crew. *Position Summary:* We are hiring an experienced *Asphalt Roller Operator* to assist in compacting and finishing newly laid asphalt on roadways, parking lots, and driveways. This is a *non-union* position with full-time, seasonal work and opportunities for overtime. *Key Responsibilities:* * Operate steel-drum and/or pneumatic rollers safely and efficiently * Compact asphalt to proper density and finish specifications * Work closely with paver and crew to maintain a smooth workflow * Perform pre- and post-operation equipment checks * Maintain safe work practices and follow all safety guidelines * Assist with general labor tasks as needed during downtime *Requirements:* * 3+ year of experience operating asphalt rollers * Reliable transportation and valid driver?s license * Ability to work long hours, including weekends and overtime * Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Commitment to jobsite safety *Preferred Qualifications:* * Experience on both breakdown and finish rollers * Familiarity with compaction techniques and mat finish standards * OSHA 10 or 30 certification *What We Offer:* * Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) * Overtime and weekend opportunities * Consistent seasonal work * Supportive crew environment * Room for growth within the company *Ready to Roll?* We?re looking for motivated, experienced roller operators who take pride in quality work and want to be part of a team that delivers results.
