Under the authority of the Maintenance Supervisor, the incumbent of this unionized position must ensure the operation and maintenance of production equipment, intervene at the first operational level, repair the various systems and their various components. mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and electronic as well as all other tasks required by the position.
Please note that you will start on the day shift but will eventually transfer on the evening shift.
Main responsibilities
1. Responds to service calls from internal customers, analyzes problems and finds solutions in compliance with health and safety rules and prioritizes tasks according to objectives
2. Must perform maintenance and preventive maintenance (?TPM?) tasks
Professional Skills/Qualifications
1) Minimum level of education required and/or specialization: DEP, College Diploma or equivalent
2) Minimum experience required: 3+ years of relevant experience
3) Special skills required:
Knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLC and robotization
· Pneumatic, electrical and machining knowledge
· Class C (an asset)
· Knowledge of aluminum and ceramic mold repair (an asset)
· Welding (steel and aluminum)
