Sundowners Day Care is a non-profit licensed child care organization. We provide quality childcare for children 18 months to 12 years old and are a multi-site location in Windsor-Essex. We are currently seeking a part time _*COOK *_(17.5 hours per week)to join our fast-paced team. The Cook will work 9:30 am -1:00 pm Monday through Friday. This is a physical position where the candidate is on their feet and performing repetitive movements including lifting throughout the day. The _*COOK*_ is responsible for:
* Preparing and making healthy meals and snacks for groups of children using the Canada's Food Guide
* Able to accommodate for allergies and other food restrictions
* Planning meals and shopping within a budget
* Creating and maintaining grocery lists
* Maintaining a healthy and clean kitchen
* Supporting the program as needed and determined by the supervisor
*The successful candidate will posses the following:*
* Minimum of high school diploma
* Safe Food Handler Certification
* Vulnerable Sector Check
* Current first aid/CPR certification
* Produce a fit to work note and required immunizations
* Experience cooking for groups especially in a child care setting is an asset
