*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks and a commitment to high standards of hygiene and customer service. *Responsibilities* * Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces. * Utilize appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment to ensure effective sanitation. * Handle custodial tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and waste disposal. * Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock is low. * Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding cleaning schedules and any maintenance issues. * Adhere to safety protocols while performing heavy lifting or moving furniture as required. * Manage time efficiently to complete tasks within designated time frames. *Skills* * Experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred, however not necessary. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff. * Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. * Capability to perform heavy lifting as needed during cleaning operations. * Attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Seasonal Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 10 ? 30 per week Additional pay: * Tips Benefits: * Mileage reimbursement Schedule: * 4 hour shift * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday * On call * Weekends as needed Application question(s): * This role includes needing to travel from home, to home around the county- sometimes outside of Pictou County.
