We operate on a family-style dining concept, creating a warm and communal atmosphere where guests and staff come together over delicious, thoughtfully prepared meals.The Role:As our Chef, you'll take charge of our small, open kitchen, ensuring it remains clean, organized, and running efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:<ul><li>Preparing and serving hot, beautifully plated or family style meals in a timely manner.</li><li>Keeping the kitchen and food storage areas clean, organized, and properly sanitized at all times.</li><li>Ordering Inventory and Maintaining an efficient and well-stocked workspace.</li><li>Engaging with guests and staff, fostering a warm and welcoming environment.</li></ul>This role is perfect for someone who enjoys creating high-quality meals in a scenic, remote setting. Your interpersonal skills are just as important as your culinary expertise-a friendly, engaging personality is key, as you'll play an important role in the lodge experience.What We're Looking For:<ul><li>Previous experience as a Chef, preferably in a wilderness lodge or remote setting.</li><li>A strong work ethic, adaptability, and organizational skills.</li><li>A passion for cooking hearty, family-style meals.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills and a guest-focused attitude.</li><li>Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.</li><li>Knowledge of gardening is a plus-we maintain a small herb and lettuce garden.</li><li>A love for the outdoors!
