We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting the dental team with various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
*Responsibilities*
* Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
* Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
* Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
* Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
* Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
* Support orthodontic procedures and assist with pediatric dentistry as required.
* Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and patient check-in/check-out.
*Days needed Mondays and Saturdays.*
