*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled CCTV Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV systems. This role requires a strong understanding of computer networking, low voltage systems, and mechanical knowledge to ensure the effective operation of surveillance equipment. The CCTV Technician will work closely with clients to assess their security needs and provide tailored solutions.
*Duties*
* Install and configure CCTV systems according to specifications.
* Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing surveillance equipment.
* Detect and troubleshoot issues related to camera functionality and network connectivity.
* Build and assemble necessary components for CCTV installations.
* Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate system layout.
* Utilize power tools safely and effectively during installation processes.
* Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
* Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
*Skills*
* Proficient in computer networking principles related to CCTV systems.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with low voltage equipment.
* Experience in reading blueprints and schematics for effective installation.
* Familiarity with various power tools used in installation tasks.
* Ability to detect technical issues and implement appropriate solutions.
* Knowledge of computer hardware as it relates to CCTV systems is advantageous.
