Join our team! The Township of St. Joseph is currently seeking a motivated and experienced individual to fill the role of Public Works Superintendent.
Located approximately 40 km east of Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, the Township of St. Joseph occupies the northern portion of St. Joseph Island, including the town of Richards Landing and surrounding rural areas, and is home to over 1,400 year-round residents with a large seasonal population.
The Public Works Superintendent will play a vital role in overseeing the planning, coordination, and delivery of municipal services, including the construction and maintenance of roads and bridges, public works operations, parks, recreational facilities, and the landfill site.
We?re looking for a strong communicator and proven leader who can work collaboratively with staff, Council, and the public. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional project management skills, budget planning and oversight experience, and the ability to foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.

*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS*
· Minimum 5 years related work experience with several years at a leadership or supervisory level;
· Education/certificate(s) in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience;
· Proficiency in the use of computers and the MS office environment, budget and report writing.
· Current AZ license.

· Salary Range $74,275-$92,250
· Full Time/Permanent
· 40 hours per week
· On-call Requirement
