*Legal Assistant Required *
A Family Lawyer is seeking a full-time legal assistant that will provide them with administrative and legal support. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, great communicator verbal and written, organized and service orientated. Confidentiality and discretion are paramount in this role, along with a strong work ethic and positive attitude. The ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and education requirements:
*Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities include:*
* Preparation of standard Family Law materials
* Work closely with lawyer to support and assist ongoing practice
* Drafting, revising, scanning and maintaining all files
* Processing highly confidential information
* Managing calendar, schedules and meetings
* Providing excellent client service
* Adhering to all practice and policies as set forth by Lawyer
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
* Fielding /managing and responding to general questions
* *Education & Experience*
* Legal assistant diploma from a recognized post-secondary institute
* 5-7 years? experience in Family Law
* Knowledge of PCLaw or Soluno would be an asset
* Analytical, time management and organization skills required
* Strong computer skills, MS office, word, excel and power point
