*Job Summary*
We are seeking a motivated and eager Apprentice Electrician to work on the road within Saskatchewan. The Work Schedule consists of 17 days on & 4 days off (days 1 & 17 are travel days - leaving from Moose Jaw on day 1 and returning to Moose Jaw on day 17). Hotel rooms are paid for as well as a $60/day meal allowance for working days
This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical field while working under the supervision of experienced electricians.
*Responsibilities*
* Assist in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems according to blueprints and schematics.
* Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.
* Support experienced electricians in troubleshooting electrical issues and performing repairs.
* Participate in the installation of low voltage systems as directed.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
* Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge in the electrical trade.
*Experience*
* Basic understanding of electrical concepts is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
* Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in electrical work.
* Experience reading blueprints or schematics is a plus.
* Previous experience as an industrial electrician or in a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work well within a team environment are crucial for success in this role.
