DescriptionForestry or related field degree with five (5) years of experience, OR; Two (2) year diploma in a related field with five (5) years of related experience At least two (2) of the five (5) years of experience in Urban Forestry ISA Certified Arborist designation Journeyman Landscape Gardener certification Assets: Project Management training TRAQ (Tree Risk Assessment Qualification) Additional skill-specific training in pruning and removal Skills required for success: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks while producing high-quality, accurate, detailed, and defensible work Excellent organizational skills for tree work project management, involving contractors, city employees, and public consultation Ability to estimate work required for proactive tree protection throughout projects Understanding of construction processes to develop compromises that protect City assets Strong interpersonal and communication skills to- LocationEdmonton, AB
