*Job Summary:*
Reporting to our new service manager Doug Glen, you are passionate about providing exceptional vehicle maintenance and have a results-oriented outlook on all maintenance or repair work. As a *Electrical/Drivability Technician *for our brand and high-volume location, you must be self-motivated, high-energy, dynamic, and results-oriented with a proven track record of vehicle service excellence.

*Shifts:* Flexible, 40 hours/week
*Wage:* Hourly, Flat Rate + bonuses, dependent on experience!
*The requirements:*
* Red Seal Automotive Service Technician certification is an asset
* Apprentice Service Technician certification is an asset
* High degree of accuracy, sound judgment, and attention to detail
* Ability to identify and resolve issues effectively and efficiently
* Knowledge of rules surrounding automotive safety, best practices, and consumer protection
* Excellent organizational and realistic time management skills
* Ability to handle rapidly increasing workload
* Ability to work well in a team and on your own initiative
* Driver?s license in good standing and clean driver?s abstract required
* Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions

*The job:*
* Analyze, optimize, and repair various types of vehicles, including gas, diesel, and electric-powered vehicles
* Maintain expert knowledge on the ins and outs of new GM products, including technological advances such as Super Cruise and the electric lineup?s Ultium Platform
* Perform the work described in the work orders efficiently and accurately, based on the dealership and manufacturer standards
* Determine the cause of any defect and repair it. Detect the issues with the vehicle, based on the customer?s complaints and your own inspection
