*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated Experienced Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for eye care and providing exceptional service to patients. This is a full-time, permanent position. Only those looking for a long term career and at least 5 years experience will be considered.
*Responsibilities*
-Conduct preliminary patient screenings
-Perform diagnostic tests using various diagnostic equipment
-Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Accuro electronic medical records systems
-Dilation of patients
-Prepare examination rooms and equipment for procedures
-Assisting with general office administration work
-Training future hires
-Assist with clinic operations
-Assist with surgery counseling
-Assist with lens orders and prescriptions
-Assist ophthalmologists with patient care
-Cross training where applicable
*Educational Requirements*
-Grade 12 education
-At least 5 years recent Ophthalmic Technician Experience
-Accuro software experience
-Strong written and verbal English Language Communications
-Attention Detailed and Accurate Record Keeping
-Team oriented
-Training Experience
-Ability to adapt to a fast paced environment.
On the job training will be provided and only suitable candidates will be called for interview.
6 month probation period applies and benefits become available once the probation period is over.

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
