*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled 'Registered Dental Assistant' to join our practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. *Responsibilities* * Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. * Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with safety protocols. * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. * Maintain accurate patient records and assist with charting during appointments. * Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. * Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow within the office. * Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and inventory management. * Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality patient care. *Experience* Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: * Previous experience in dental assisting * Familiarity with dental software such as ClearDent. * Understanding of medical terminology to communicate effectively within the healthcare setting.
