*Job Overview*
Crowsnest Pass Senior Housing is looking for a professional Hairdresser to provide services to our residents at reasonable rates. You will have full use of our salon, set your own hours, provide your own supplies, and have use of the lodges laundry facilities. This is a contract position and requires $150 monthly rent.
As a Hair Stylist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the beauty and confidence of our seniors through exceptional hair styling services. You will be responsible for providing personalized consultations, executing various hair treatments, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all our residents.
*Responsibilities*
* Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, colors, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
* Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable styles and products.
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to sanitation protocols and ensuring all tools are properly sanitized.
* Scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and managing customer inquiries.
* Deliver outstanding customer service by creating a friendly environment and building lasting relationships with clients.
* Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and products to provide informed recommendations.
*Qualifications*
* Valid license or certification
* Clear criminal record check including the vulnerable sector recent to 3 months old
* Business License
* WCB insurance
* Liability insurance
* Proven experience in hair styling
* Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents
* Strong customer service orientation with the ability to create a positive salon experience.
* Knowledge of sanitation practices within the health and beauty industry.
