We are seeking a skilled CCTV Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV systems. This role requires a strong understanding of low voltage systems, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and proficiency with both hand and power tools. The CCTV Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and functionality of surveillance systems for our clients.
*Responsibilities*
- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems according to specifications.
- Perform regular inspections and troubleshooting of existing surveillance equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to plan installations effectively.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during installation processes.
- Detect issues with equipment performance and implement necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless telecommunication during installations.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in CCTV technology.
*Experience*
- Proven 2 years of experience in installing and maintaining CCTV systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with low voltage electrical systems is essential.
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints effectively.
- Experience with computer hardware relevant to surveillance systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to detect issues quickly.
