Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. At heights. Work setting: Construction. Renovation. Installation. Rural area. Urban area. Tasks: Install exterior prefabricated products. Professionalism in customer service. Repair and service exterior prefabricated products. Determine layout and installation procedures. Document and prepare invoices and work orders. Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations. Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies. Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment. Supervise other workers. Utilize hand and power tools. Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Aerial lift and aerial work platform Certification. Certified installer of vinyl siding. Institute of Door Dealer Education and Accreditation (IDEA) Certification. Working at heights training. Occupational Health and Safety Certificate. Fall Arrest Protection Training Course. Specialization or experience: Green economy sector. Area of specialization: Aluminum windows and doors. Eavestroughs. Metal building assembly (small metal buildings). Shutters. Siding. Windows. Security and safety: Bondable. Criminal record check. Driving record check (abstract). Drug test. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Handling heavy loads.
