*Duties*
- Provide administrative support to three lawyers;
- Communicate effectively and professionally with prospective and existing clients;
- Assist in legal drafting and court filing;
- Draft correspondence to opposing counsel and clients;
- Maintain strict confidentiality;
- Maintain punctuality in opening and closing the office;
- Monitor deadlines; and
- Answer and direct telephone calls;
*Qualifications*
- Grade 12 Diploma;
- Ability to type 60 WPM; and
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
*Preferred Skills and Knowledge*
- Computer and software literacy. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Zoom & TEAMS;
- Experience working with Indigenous people;
- Ability to take direction and perform duties in a professional and timely manner;
- Ability to work independently and as a team member;
- Excellent organizational skills;
- Ability to adhere to deadlines
- Attention to detail
- Prior office experience;
- Prior legal assistant experience an asset
