*Merle Norman & InSPArations Day Spa is a busy day spa and retailer of well known products located in Grande Prairie Alberta.* If you are looking for an environment where you can truly make a difference in people's lives, join our family at Merle Norman & InSPArations Day Spa! *Position Summary:* The Esthetician is responsible for providing high quality spa services to customers in a manner that satisfies their personal needs while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor. *Why Join Our Team* * Industry leading company benefits including medical, dental and vision after 90 days of employment * Opportunity to work with new and exciting products * Full-time (28-42 hours per week) * Paid Stat Holidays & vacation pay * Immediate access to clientele and bookings *Qualifications:* * Previous experience as an esthetician or beauty therapist is required (1 year minimum) (Relaxation massage, manicures, pedicures, waxing, tinting, lash lifting, tinting, sugaring, threading, makeup, facials, advanced skin-care and henna) We DO NOT require the following skills: Nail extensions, lash extensions or hair dressers as these are services we do not provide. * Ability to perform a variety of tasks related to customer service with a courteous and professional demeanor. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Strong computer skills for checking in and out your clients when our receptionist is busy with other guests. * A comfort with applying makeup and assisting our guests find appropriate color and skincare products and how to use their new retail items.
