As our company continues to grow, we?re seeking a dedicated *Project Coordinator* to support efficient project execution through scheduling, communication, and administrative organization.
*Position Summary*
The *Project Coordinator* works closely with the Project Manager to ensure that all aspects of our construction projects run smoothly. This role involves scheduling, permitting, field communication, and material tracking. The Coordinator will also be responsible for monitoring and verifying field staff hours to help ensure payroll receives accurate time data.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Support the Project Manager in tracking job progress, schedules, and deliverables
* Coordinate project *scheduling* for HVAC, mechanical, and electrical crews and subcontractors
* Monitor and *verify field staff hours*, ensuring time data is complete and accurate for payroll processing
* Prepare and submit *permit applications* and schedule inspections based on project needs
* Order and track *materials* to ensure timely availability on job sites
* Maintain communication with field staff, subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors
* Keep project documentation up to date and organized, including job files and inspection records
* Assist with daily administrative functions related to job execution and project timelines
*Qualifications*
* 2+ years of experience in *construction coordination or administration*
* Familiarity with *HVAC, electrical, or mechanical contracting*
* Experience supporting a *Project Manager* or field-based team
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Experience with *time tracking*, *scheduling*, and *project management tools* (e.g., Jobber) is an asset
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
