We are seeking to hire a *Dispatchers Supervisor* in order to continue investing in the company?s goals.
*1. Primary Duties and Responsibilities*
· Supervise the dispatchers to dispatch drivers to their designated routes, optimizing assignments to ensure timely deliveries and efficient use of resources while ensuring no routes are dropped unless authorized by the Employer.
· Resolve issues with undeliverable packages by re-routing, scheduling re-deliveries, or initiating the Return to Sender (RTS) process, including proper documentation and handling of returned packages.
· Ensure all packages are safely and securely stored in the warehouse to prevent damage or loss and oversee the locking and securing of the warehouse at the end of each workday to prevent unauthorized access.
· Oversee the return of delivery trailers to their designated home site at the end of each day.
· Provide guidance, coaching, and support to Delivery Associates to enhance performance, ensure customer satisfaction, and hold DAs accountable for damages by identifying root causes.
· Oversee the maintenance and inventory levels of the delivery fleet, scheduling regular maintenance and repairs, reviewing daily inspections, and placing timely orders for necessary materials and supplies to ensure adequate stock levels.
· Create and manage work schedules, address unforeseen contingencies or disruptions to the delivery schedule, and make necessary adjustments, including going on the road if needed, to ensure on-time deliveries.
· Develop and implement operational objectives that align with the company?s strategic goals, continuously evaluating and enhancing procedures to improve efficiency, productivity, and product quality.
· Monitor compliance with established safety protocols among dispatchers and delivery associates, continuously evaluating and improving safety procedures as needed.
· Compile and submit weekly and monthly performance reports, review findings with the director, and recommend actionable improvements to enhance operational outcomes.
· Address and resolve internal team concerns promptly, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Implement proactive measures to minimize conflicts and ensure professional resolution when issues arise.
· Lead the onboarding and training of new employees, provide ongoing development opportunities for current staff, conduct performance evaluations, and report outcomes to the director.
· Hold daily or weekly meetings with dispatch staff to review performance, address issues, and align operational goals. Maintain coordination across departments to ensure seamless operations.
· Collaborate with the Operations Manager and assist with tasks or projects as required to support the overall efficiency and success of the operation.
· Provide technical support as needed and suggest strategies to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and product quality.
· Perform any other tasks, duties, or responsibilities reasonably related to the daily operation of the Employer?s business.
