*Overview* We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming spaces through high-quality painting and decorating techniques. This role involves working on both residential and commercial projects, ensuring that all work meets our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. The Painter & Decorator will be responsible for executing various tasks related to painting, drywall installation, and finishing work, while providing excellent customer service throughout the process. *Duties* * Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. * Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. * Install drywall and perform necessary repairs to ensure smooth surfaces. * Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements. * Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on color selection and design. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of the project. * Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project timelines are met. * Utilize hand tools and equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols. *Skills* * Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. * Proficient in drywall installation and repair techniques. * Experience in construction painting with a focus on both residential and commercial projects. * Excellent customer service skills to enhance client satisfaction. * Ability to read blueprints and schematics for accurate project execution. * Familiarity with various hand tools used in painting and decorating tasks. * Basic carpentry skills are a plus, enhancing versatility in project execution.
