*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastering techniques and be capable of delivering high-quality finishes on various surfaces. This role requires attention to detail, a solid understanding of construction practices, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
*Duties*
* Apply plaster to walls and ceilings using various techniques to achieve desired finishes.
* Read and interpret blueprints to determine specifications for plastering projects.
* Prepare surfaces for plaster application by cleaning, repairing, and applying necessary undercoats.
* Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and drywall installers, to ensure seamless integration of plaster work.
* Perform caulking and sealing as needed to protect plastered surfaces from moisture and damage.
* Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
* Assist in construction painting tasks as required to enhance the overall appearance of finished projects.
*Experience*
* Proven experience as a Plasterer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
* Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding construction plans.
* Familiarity with drywall installation and finishing techniques is preferred.
* Experience with caulking, maintenance person tasks, and general construction practices will be beneficial.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
