We value an independent and flexible Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) while providing a dedicated support and training system. * Assessment and Treatment Materials: Extensive selection of formal and informal assessment tools, treatment materials, and online resources to enhance therapy sessions. * Online Subscriptions: Including continuing education and online materials * Electronic Medical Record System: Access our EMR system (Jane) for all documentation, scheduling and billing needs. * Mentorship: We offer mentorship with a senior SLP who is registered in both Prince Edward Island and Ontario, if required by your college of professionals. *The successful applicant will:* * Be committed to providing excellent, empathic care in line with our values. * Possess a courteous, positive and professional attitude. * Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills with ability to engage others * Strong time management skills and ability to organize daily activities and priorities * Ability to work independently and as part of a team *Primary Responsibilities:* * Assess, develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practice for paediatric and adult patient populations. * Assess and treat clients in both virtual and in-home settings. * Provide client and family centred intervention by building strong rapport with caregivers, with ongoing training and education * Monitor client progress towards goal attainment and have the agility to adjust treatment plans according to changing needs * Partner with our client?s family members, caregivers and other health care professionals regarding care goals and service plans. * Manage own caseload and maintain complete records of therapy using our electronic charting system, in accordance with CASLPO regulations *Qualifications:* * Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent. * Currently registered and in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario * Proof of Professional Liability Insurance * Must have a valid driver?s license and the use of a reliable vehicle * Bilingual or Multi-lingual language skills are an asset Our decade of dedicated service has laid a strong foundation of excellence in speech pathology.
