Information regarding this school may be found at . <br><br></p> <p>The Administrative Assistant II - School is responsible for a variety of office administration and clerical duties to support school staff, students, parents, and community members across Rocky View Schools (RVS). Reporting to the Principal, the Administrative Assistant II - Schools provides excellent service to callers and visitors, maintains accurate student records, supports the schedules of the school administrators, and provides administrative support as assigned.</p></div><div><p><strong>Responsibilities Include</strong></p></div><div><ul> <li>Maintains student permanent records, school records, student enrolments, attendance, and month-end reports using various data management programs in a confidential manner</li> <li> Creates a variety of written documents in a professional manner as required<br><br> Schedules appointments, books meeting rooms, and communicates with participants in a timely manner as required</li> <li> Assists with orientation of new school staff</li> <li>Organizes and facilitates school announcements<br><br> </li> <li>Provides excellent service to school staff, students and the public, including answering and directing phone calls in a courteous and professional manner</li> <li>Greets substitute teachers and substitute support staff and provides necessary resources</li> <li>Prepares, distributes, collects, and categorizes various school forms </li> <li>Accepts, distributes and expedites mail, couriered and delivered items</li> <li>Collaborates with team members to identify efficient work flow in the school office </li> <li>Completes a variety of clerical duties in a fast-paced work environment by assigned deadlines</li> <li>Supervises students in the infirmary </li> <li>Supports the financial duties, and other administrative tasks as required </li> <li>Supports the administration of the community rental of the school/facility as required </li> </ul> <p><strong>Education/Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Certificate or diploma in office management, business administration, or a related field</li> <li>Two or more years? experience in an administrative assistant role in an office environment</li> <li>Previous experience with customer service in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Previous experience within a school division and/or with Student Information Records Systems is considered an asset</li> </ul> <p><strong>Knowledge and Skills</strong><br><br> </p> <ul> <li>Outstanding communication and customer service
