We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. *Responsibilities*
* Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company goals.
* Identify and pursue new market opportunities through research and networking.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
* Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to track leads, manage client interactions, and analyze loan data.
* Assist the General Manager to pursue opportunities for new/expanded program development and implementation
* Develop and lead workshops for Startup and expansion businesses to support them in creating viable business plans, strategic plans, cashflow planning and exit strategies
* Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
* Prepare and present reports on business development activities and outcomes to General Manager.
*Credit Analysis, Presentation and Adjudication*
* Process loan application
* Provide Credit analysis documents to General Manager for vetting prior to the General Manager's onward submission to loans committee members for adjudication
*Experience*
* Proven experience in business development or sales roles, preferably within a related industry.
* Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer relationship management practices.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
* Proficiency in using CRM software for tracking client and loan activities.
* Excellent customer service skills with a track record of closing deals successfully.
* Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and identify growth opportunities.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with clients at all levels.
