Skyview General Contracting Ltd., a medium sized civil construction company, is looking for Cement Finisher with 5+ years? experience finishing cement, setting forms for curbs, sidewalks and up to 4? walls. The ideal candidate will be capable of working with minimal supervision and be willing to work together with other crew members to resolve issues safely and efficiently. Additionally, he or she should be familiar with construction industry safety standards and procedures to ensure team members safety.
*Qualifications:*
· Minimum 5 years? finishing cement, setting forms for curbs, sidewalks and up to 4? walls
· Ability to operate required equipment in a safe manner.
· Valid Class G driver?s license and personal vehicle.
· High school or equivalent.
· Strong English communication skills.
*Primary Responsibilities:*
* Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
* Form and pour concrete. sidewalks and a variety of curbs and stairs, concrete slabs, retaining walls, footings, etc.
* Curb machine operation and line setting.
*Job Type:* Full-time ? 7am to 5pm - Monday to Friday
