Prairie Meats is currently hiring a Maintenance Technician to support our busy food production facilities. This role requires a well-rounded skill set with a focus on electronic controls, as well as solid mechanical and pneumatic troubleshooting experience. Schedule: Monday - Friday Day Shift 40 hours/week Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair equipment issues involving electronic control systems, including relays, sensors, switches, and basic PLC components Perform routine and emergency maintenance on mechanical systems, such as conveyors, motors, pumps, and gearboxes Troubleshoot and service pneumatic systems, including valves, cylinders, and air lines Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life Ensure all work meets food safety and sanitation standardsQualifications: 2+ years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing or similar industrial environment Strong knowledge of electronic components, control circuits, and basic diagnostics Hands-on experience with mechanical repairs and pneumatic systems Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team- LocationSaskatoon, SK
