With coverage across BC, AB, SK, MB, ON, YK, and NWT, we are rapidly growing and expanding into new markets. We?re looking for a motivated Parts Technician to join our team.
*The Opportunity:* As a Parts Technician, you will assist customers with the purchase of parts. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing parts inventory, processing sales transactions, and ensuring that customers receive the right parts and products for their needs. The Parts Technician also works closely with technicians, the service department, and vendors. This role requires excellent customer service, strong communication skills, and a good understanding of the products being sold. You will report to the Ontario Parts and Logistics team lead. The right candidate will have potential for growth within the company.
The position is based out of the Woodstock Ontario location.
*Key Responsibilities:*
? Work with customers and Service Department team to identify and recommend parts.
? Answer the phone for incoming parts inquiries.
? Enter orders into the computer system.
? Perform stock orders as needed.
? Cross over or source parts when exact match not available.
? Unloading, receiving, and storing incoming parts and other materials in the warehouse and the yard.
? Locate parts and other materials and ship to customers.
? Accurately and completely document and report all shipping, receiving.
*Ideal Candidate:*
· Experience in aggregates or material processing industry preferred.
· Technical Knowledge: Understanding of parts identification, cataloging, and inventory management systems.
· Customer Service: Ability to communicate effectively with customers and provide helpful advice.
· Computer Skills: Proficiency with computer systems and data entry.
· Physical Skills: Ability to lift, move, and handle parts.
· Organizational Skills: Ability to maintain a well-organized and clean work area.
· Positive attitude, enjoys learning and personal development.
