*Job Overview*
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, entering contracts, answering phones and emails. This role requires strong analytical skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and proficiency in accounting software.
*Responsibilities*
* Process and record incoming payments accurately and efficiently.
* Perform data entry tasks related to accounts receivable transactions.
* Analyze account discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely manner.
* Communicate with customers regarding outstanding invoices and payment arrangements.
* Maintain organized records of all transactions and customer interactions.
* Utilize accounting software to manage accounts receivable functions effectively.
* Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly.
*Experience*
* Previous experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or in a similar role is preferred.
* Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent math skills for accurate financial calculations.
* Strong phone etiquette and communication skills for effective customer interactions.
* Completion of college program in accounting or bookkeeping combined with a minimum of 3 years experience.
