We are seeking a motivated and self-driven General Manager to oversee daily operations and lead our team in Taber, Alberta. This position demands strong leadership, attention to detail, and a focus on providing consistently high service standards.
*Responsibilities*
* Oversee front-line team members and ensure smooth, efficient day-to-day operations
* Manage scheduling, payroll submissions, and staff coverage
* Maintain a clean, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for guests
* Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and conflict resolution professionally
* Monitor inventory, coordinate with vendors, and manage supply ordering
* Analyze operational reports and identify areas for improvement
* Ensure adherence to company policies, safety protocols, and cleanliness standards
* Train, mentor, and evaluate team members
* Coordinate routine maintenance, inspections, and follow-up tasks
* Implement improvements that enhance service quality and operational efficiency
*Requirements*
* Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry.
* Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and guest service.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Familiarity with POS systems and hotel management software is an asset.
