Join our team as a Farm Manager Assistant where you'll play a key role in the care and wellbeing of over 70 rescue animals. This is a rewarding, active position that gets you outside every day, working closely with donkeys and other animals, supporting daily operations and being part of a dedicated team making a real difference. No two days are the same.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Provide daily care to donkeys and other sanctuary animals
* Observe and report animal health and behaviour concerns promptly
* Operate and maintain tractor and equipment (training provided if not experienced)
* Administer basic medications
* Assist in routine hoof care procedures
* Clean and maintain stalls and paddocks
* Perform basic property maintenance (fencing, shelters, tools)
* Maintain accurate records of animal care, supplies and routines
* Support and guide volunteers in daily tasks
* Assist with educational tours and fundraising events
*Qualifications*
* Previous animal care experience (equine preferred)
* Comfortable working around large animals
* Physically capable of year-round outdoor work
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to follow daily routines and work effectively as part of a team
* Valid driver's license required
