*Overview*
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing support for financial reporting. This role is essential in managing the day-to-day financial transactions of the organization, contributing to overall financial health and operational efficiency.
*Duties*
* Perform bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records.
* Conduct account analysis and account reconciliation to maintain precise financial statements.
* Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing and tracking payments.
* Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
* Assist in budgeting processes by providing necessary financial data.
* Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero for efficient record-keeping.
* Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information is shared.
* Maintain confidentiality of all financial information.
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role within accounting or finance.
* Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks and Xero.
* Strong understanding of bank reconciliation, account analysis, and account reconciliation processes.
* Familiarity with payroll processing and accounts receivable management.
* Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Strong analytical skills and proficiency in budgeting practices.
* A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
