Roxanne Ouellet is seeking a Medical Office Administrator to join the team at Clinique Dro. As a vital member of our team, the Medical Office Admin will play an essential role in within our clinic. If you have experience in administration within a health care setting and consider yourself to be a strong communicator who is organized, compassionate, and innovative, this may be the perfect opportunity for you!Key Responsibilities, as required/applicable:Coordinates patient care throughout the clinic: checking in, prepping, escorting to exam rooms, and preparing exam rooms for the next patient.Manages incoming/outgoing inquiries by phone and in person in a helpful, respectful and efficient manner.Manages and maintains clinic schedule.Provides general administrative support to the team.Maintains electronic medical records via EMR software and prepares routine and ad hoc reports using the EMR system.Processes incoming and outgoing mail, faxes and general correspondence.Helps order and re-stock office and clinical supplies, ensuring that exam rooms are stocked appropriately.Performs billing procedures (processing payments for provincial, third party, uninsured services and reconciliation).Assists with coordination of referrals to specialists, diagnostic imaging, and laboratory testing and conveys pertinent information to the patient.Performs all other related administrative tasks or special tasks.Working Conditions & Location:The Medical Office Admin position requires availability to work on-site from Monday to Thursday, and the successful candidate will have the ability to work from home on Fridays, once their training has been completed.Our clinic operates Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and remains closed on evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays.The work hours will be Monday (8am-4pm), Tuesday to Thursday (8am-4:30pm) and Friday (8am-2:30pm). Note that the schedule may slightly vary to meet operational requirements.The clinic's team currently includes Dre.
