*Territory:*
We are looking for a candidate to take on existing and potential clients in Southern Alberta, Central Alberta, accounts surrounding Calgary (Airdrie, Strathmore, Cochrane, Olds, Okotoks, etc.), Canmore and the Kootenays.
The role is 80% on the road with 20% in the Calgary head Office.
*Summary*
Responsible for promoting and selling company products and services, managing client relationships, and growing market share within an assigned territory. Duties include client outreach, sales presentations, order management, and collaboration with internal teams. The role also involves gathering market intelligence, meeting with key internal partners and soliciting product launches and promotions.
*Primary Responsibilities*
* Prepare, promote, and solicit company products and services to current and potential clients.
* Establish and maintain professional relationships with current and potential clients.
* Manage the assigned territory with client communication in-store and virtually.
* Manage the assigned territory with established frequency and consistency
* Work in conjunction with the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to manage active and inactive clients.
* Expected to grow TREECO market share in the assigned territory.
* Work in conjunction with the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to manage opportunities in the pipeline.
* Prepare and execute product presentations.
* Create and manage quotations and sales orders.
* Develop and maintain product knowledge continually.
* Identify and resolve client concerns.
* Work in tandem with your assigned customer service specialist (CSS).
* Communicate product quality and supply issues to the Branch Manager to review.
* Communicate client activity, market and competitor intel at scheduled sales meetings.
* Promote and solicit new product launches, sales promotions and slow-moving/discontinued inventory.
* Promote and attend company events.
* Maintain sales and marketing assets (merchandisers, samples, etc.)
* Attend scheduled corporate training and meetings
*Additional Responsibilities:*
* Participate in industry events such as seminars, trade shows, and client functions.
* Work closely with the territory CSS in the collection of client receivables.
* Assist in training new staff on product knowledge and sales techniques
* Attend training sessions to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
* Other duties as assigned.
*Experience*
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* 5+ years in B2B experience is preferred
* 5+ years of flooring experience is preferred.
* Work requires significant travel to current and potential clients. This requires possession of a valid driver?s license and a suitable vehicle.
* A working knowledge of CRM tools and POS systems.
* Ability to persuade and influence others. Ability to develop and deliver presentations. Ability to create and edit written materials.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
* Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
* Work requires a willingness to work a flexible schedule as necessary
