*About the Position*
We?re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented *Shipping Coordinator *to join our team. This role is critical in organizing, maintaining, and efficiently managing the flow of products within our warehouse. You?ll be responsible for inventory management, shipping and receiving, and ensuring that stock levels are maintained and operations run smoothly. * *Coordinate Deliveries and Shipments:* Assist in receiving incoming stock and preparing outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in quantity and documentation for smooth and timely distribution.
* *Organize and Maintain Inventory:* Properly store products in designated locations to maximize space, streamline picking processes, and ensure quick and easy access to items.
* *Maintain a Safe and Orderly Warehouse:* Uphold cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the warehouse by following all health, safety, and operational procedures.
* *Support Daily Shipping Operations:* Facilitate the flow of goods by supporting the handling of inbound supplies and outbound shipments, helping to ensure customer orders are fulfilled on schedule.
*Responsibilities*
_Shipping Coordination:_
* Prepare regular shipping estimates for the Customer Service team to ensure accurate expectations for delivery timelines.
* Schedule pickups for both loose box and palette deliveries to clients, ensuring timely and efficient outbound shipments.
* Schedule and coordinate cross-border consolidated shipments, ensuring all required paperwork is completed accurately.
* Review invoices for outbound shipments and compare them with merchandise being prepared to ship out to ensure complete accuracy.
* Verify that packed and labeled items are correctly stacked on pallets prior to release for shipping to clients.
* Create and submit necessary shipping documentation (invoices, purchase orders, bills of lading, etc.) to shipping companies for each outbound shipment.
* Ensure all required paperwork is filed upon order completion and make sure all paperwork and bills are included with each shipment.
* Communicate with truck drivers for timely delivery to clients.
* Coordinate pickups from supplier locations for inbound supplies, ensuring proper planning and documentation.
* Verify that inbound deliveries match supplier purchase orders and take corrective action if discrepancies are found.
* Continuously review freight costs and transportation rates, to keep costs as low as possible.
* Build strong relationships with preferred partners to ensure reliable and consistent logistics support.
