*Responsibilities:*
* Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on all makes of heavy-duty trucks, trailers, buses, and petroleum tanks.
* Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve mechanical problems.
* Troubleshoot and repair, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
* Perform scheduled maintenance services, including oil changes, brake adjustments, and tire replacements.
* Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely completion of repairs and meet customer expectations.
* Accurately document all work performed and maintain detailed records.
* Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
* Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in truck & transport technology.
*Requirements:*
* *Licensed or Apprentice* Truck & Transport Mechanic.
* Proven experience as a Truck & Transport Mechanic in a heavy-duty truck repair shop.
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Good manual dexterity and able to perform intermittent heavy lifting.
* Valid Driver?s License and acceptable driver?s abstract.
