We are Bespoke Speech, curators of baby/toddler group programming and private speech and language services for young children. We are a niche private speech therapy practice with an experienced team of Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) with a passion for working with:

Our speech and language services offer assessment, consultation, and therapy for children. We are well-known in the GTA for our highly experienced SLPs, each with their own niche in speech therapy, building strong and trusting relationships with caregivers, and our passion for all things speech and language. All of our SLPs on our team have at least 10 years in the field with many inching towards 20 years. We are still young at heart and are a true team who support each other, which is hard to find in the private world.
Almost two years ago, we opened our dream speech clinic in the St. Clair West and Oakwood area in midtown Toronto. Our clinic's location is easily accessible by transit and a car is not mandatory for this position. We have three beautiful therapy rooms each with plenty of natural light in addition to our amazing large gym for gross motor fun and access to our coveted toy therapy room! This is an in-clinic position, we do not offer home-based visits or travel to other locations.
*Job Description*
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our well-established team of experienced SLPs and Communicative Disorders Assistants (CDAs).
This is a part-time independent contractor opportunity offering flexibility in scheduling in a unique and rewarding role. While you have the autonomy to determine your preferred workload, we kindly request a minimum commitment of at least one after school availability per week on your caseload.
The responsibilities of this position include:
Conducting comprehensive speech sound assessments and developing individualized therapeutic goals for our CDAs to implement during subsequent therapy sessions with clients. Please note that direct supervision of the team?s CDA is provided by the clinic owner and is not a requirement for this role.
This responsibility will occur after school hours at our clinic. Flexible after school hour options for the SLP are during the following time frames: Monday to Friday, between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm, and/or Saturdays, between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to increase their caseload/number of therapy hours at our clinic if they so choose.
*The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:*
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).
- Professional liability insurance.
- A minimum of five years of experience working with children as a registered SLP.
- Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in providing speech sound therapy to both preschool and school-aged children, adhering to best practices in phonology, articulation, and motor speech approaches.
-Familiarity with principles of motor learning such as PROMPT, ReST, and DTTC for motor speech therapy.
-Familiarity with minimal pairs and complexity approaches for phonology-based errors
-Myofunctional assessment and therapy techniques are highly valued. Informal training in this area can be provided to the successful candidate.
- A particular interest in the assessment and treatment of orofacial myology disorders.
- A genuine passion and a strong commitment to working collaboratively with child
