*Recruitment Specialist* SOUTHLAND Transportation is currently seeking a *Recruitment Specialist *to join our fun, talented, and dedicated team! Reporting to the General Manager, the Recruitment Specialist will play a critical role in the selection and onboarding of key talent who share in our Safely Home vision. This is a high-volume role, responsible for conducting upwards of 15 ? 20 interviews per day during peak periods. Typical positions to be filled are part-time School Bus Drivers and maintenance personnel. *The ideal candidate will possess:* * Minimum 3 years of high-volume recruitment experience * Proficiency in Microsoft Office * Experience with UKG or similar ATS considered an asset * Exemplary written and verbal communication skills * Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills * Willingness to work occasional overtime and weekends, as required *Key Responsibilities:* * High-volume recruiting on very tight deadlines * Conduct interviews for various positions * Prepare pre-employment and new hire paperwork as per company and legislative requirements * Driver file maintenance and compliance for audit purposes * Conduct pre-employment drug and alcohol screening for candidates * Complete daily and weekly recruitment reports * Represent the company at job fairs and career events * Work with the recruitment team to identify new sourcing strategies for target demographics * Identify opportunities to refine the recruitment process to improve efficiencies and the candidate experience * Various administrative duties Typical hours are 7:30 am ? 4:00 pm, however, these may vary depending on organizational needs.
