*Job Summary* Anderson Handyman is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer/Roofing Professional to join our team in Cranbrook, BC. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, including roofing, drywall, painting, and landscaping, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship. *Responsibilities* * Assist in roofing tasks, including asphalt shingle and tin installation, and removal of existing roofing materials * Perform drywall tasks, including taping, mudding, and finishing * Assist with painting, fence installation, flooring installation, and landscaping projects * Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively * Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to complete projects on time * Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety * Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while on the job site, including obtaining Fall Safe certification * Assist with seal coating for driveways and other tasks as needed *Skills* * 1+ year of experience in construction or roofing * Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods * Comfortable working on roofs and at heights * Reliable transportation to and from job sites * Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team environment * Good communication skills to effectively interact with supervisors and colleagues * Basic knowledge of safety practices in construction settings is advantageous * Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to construction work *Requirements* * Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites * Must be able to show up on time and as scheduled; no-shows and last-minute cancellations won't be tolerated * Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials and equipment *What We Offer* * Competitive pay * Opportunities for growth and development * A dynamic and supportive work environment * Training and certification opportunities, including Fall Safe certification Join our team as a Construction Laborer/Roofing Professional where you can contribute to exciting projects while developing your skills in a dynamic work environment!
