*Job Overview*
We are seeking a skilled Unix Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Unix/Linux systems, ensuring optimal performance and security. This role requires a strong understanding of operating systems, cloud environments, and scripting languages. The Unix Administrator will play a critical role in supporting our infrastructure and enhancing our DevOps practices.
*Responsibilities*
* Job Description -
1. Strong knowledge in Linux/Unix operating systems, Including file systems , User management and system configuration
2. Proficiency in one or more scripting languages for Automating tasks ( eg : Phyton , Perl etc..)
3. Ability to diagnose and resolve system issues including performance
4. Active Directory and Unix security administration. Planining and implementation of Security Policies.
5. Knowledge in security tools like LDAP or Authentication protocols
6. Knowledge in server patch management
7. Ability to create and maintain documentation for all the implementation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55.27-$58.41 per hour
Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* Day shift
* Monday to Friday
Experience:
* Unix Administrator: 1 year (preferred)
