Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Noisy. Dusty. Hot. Tasks: Help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed. Repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components using hand, power or specially designed tools. Hammer out dents, buckles and defects using blocks and hammers. Clean and maintain work space. Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place. Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams. Area of work experience: Repair. Underbody components. Doors and frame. Body components. Area of specialization: Motor vehicles. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Bending, crouching, kneeling.
