We're a family owned and run butcher shop & specialty grocer located on our farm and we're searching for an energetic and positive new team member for our produce department. This is a performance driven area in our company with a fun, high energy work environment, with amazing potential and areas for growth. REQUIREMENTS :: -No previous produce experience required - training provided - Positive and upbeat attitude - Strong communication skills -Be able to work as a team member and as an individual JOB DESCRIPTION : -Provide customers with a pleasant shopping experience, assisting with providing produce related information and suggestions. - Stock and organize produce displays in an attractive manner - Ensure fresh product through stock rotation, product culling, and pro actively addressing quality concerns - Produce related production including trimming, cutting, and packaging - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the department -Receive and unload deliveries, including verifying order accuracy and quality -Compile and send orders daily -Opening/Closing shifts, requiring independent set up and take down of displays *Grocery, Retail, Customer Service Sales and receiving orders experience considered an asset!!!* Our team members are very important to us.
